Here are the Farm Fit Principles to focus and guide our interactions with the world.
1. Farm Fit Builds Fitness Through Useful Work
-We develop fitness by doing real work—digging, lifting, carrying, and chopping.
2. Farm Fit Builds Community
-Farm Fit brings people together to work in community and for the community through shared, tangible labor.
3. There Is No Mechanization in Farm Fit
-Farm Fit relies on human effort, hand tools, and shared labor rather than machines. We keep it Amish.
4. Farm Fit Loves Nature
-We are stewards of both the environment and community, recognizing that we are not separate from nature. Our work nurtures the land and the communities that interact with it.
5. Nobody Pays for Farm Fit
-Farm Fit does not charge participants, and organizations do not pay Farm Fit; work is offered only for charitable purposes.
